Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an essential life-saving skill that North Metro Fire encourages all residents to learn. For someone who goes into cardiac arrest outside of the hospital, chances of survival are near 10%. However, if someone receives immediate CPR by a bystander until first responders arrive, that person's chances of survival increase significantly. North Metro Fire offers free non-certification CPR classes throughout the year and also provides options for those needing their certification.
Family & Friends CPR is the perfect class for individuals of all ages to learn CPR and AED use if they don't need a certification card for their job. These classes are free and offered throughout the year.
