CPR and Stop the Bleed Classes
Saturday, August 18, 2018
Whether someone is suffering from cardiac arrest or bleeding from a traumatic injury, residents can have a significant impact on the patient’s survival if they take action based on training provided by North Metro Fire Rescue District.
On August 18, North Metro Fire will teach residents how to give CPR, use an automated external defibrillator (AED) and control bleeding from a trauma as part of their non-certification Family and Friends® CPR classes and Stop the Bleed classes.
Firefighters will teach the free CPR and Stop the Bleed classes back to back at North Metro Fire Headquarters, 101 Spader Way, Broomfield. One set of classes will begin at 9 a.m., and the next set will start at noon, and the last set will start at 3 p.m. Participants can attend one or both lifesaving classes and are encouraged to register online at www.nmfr.org/cpr to ensure a spot.
Please note that these classes do not provide a CPR certification card, if you are required to be certified for your job.
