Free CPR and Stop the Bleed classes offered Feb. 23

CPR Class

On February 23, North Metro Fire Rescue District will teach residents how to give CPR, use an automated external defibrillator (AED) and control bleeding from a trauma as part of their non-certification Family and Friends® CPR classes and Stop the Bleed® classes.

Firefighters will teach the free CPR and Stop the Bleed classes back to back at North Metro Fire’s Headquarters at 101 Spader Way in Broomfield. One set of classes will begin at 9 a.m., the next set will start at noon, and the last sessions will begin at 3 p.m. Participants can attend one or both lifesaving classes and are encouraged to register online at www.nmfr.org/cpr to ensure a spot. All ages are welcome. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

North Metro Fire offers these educational classes for free thanks to support from Mile High RETAC and, most recently, a donation from the Broomfield Eagles #3940.
