North Metro Fire Rescue District is seeking candidates to run in its upcoming board of directors election on May 5, 2020. Three director positions will be open for election, and those who are elected will serve three-year terms.
Anyone interested in serving on North Metro Fire’s board of directors may obtain a self-nomination and acceptance form from the District’s Headquarters or through our website. The nomination form must be completed and returned to North Metro Fire, 101 Spader Way, Broomfield, Colorado, 80020, no later than close of business on Friday, February 28, 2020.
All candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a resident of North Metro Fire Rescue District for at least 30 days; or
- The owner (or spouse of the owner) of taxable real or personal property situated within boundaries of the District (must provide spouse’s name if property is in spouse’s name); or
- A person who is obligated to pay taxes under a contract to purchase taxable property within the District.
