1750 W. 160th Avenue, Broomfield
North Metro Fire Station 66 was built in 2005. This station is home to three shifts of five firefighters. Two personnel staff an ambulance. The remaining three firefighters staff the District’s 100 ft. Aerial Platform Truck (also known as Tower 66) that responds to all North Metro Fire structural fires. This station is located within the District’s rapidly growing northern corridor, which includes the Northwest Parkway. Station 66 was built to provide response to the Northwest Parkway and the adjacent 3,000 homes in the Anthem Community. Each year the call volume climbs for this station.
This station also houses a number of specialty pieces of equipment that is used throughout the fire district, including the Trench Rescue Trailer, the Rescue Water Boat (Squad 66), the Heavy Rescue and North Metro Fire’s second brush attack truck.
