Fire and Life Safety Education

North Metro Fire’s Life Safety Education Officer helps the children throughout our community with fire safety, first aid and how to dial 9-1-1.

Our goal at North Metro Fire Rescue District is to ensure that all citizens have access to lifesaving information and to help them develop skills to keep them safe through every stage of life. Starting early, our objective is to partner with our elementary, middle and high schools to educate our youth by delivering age appropriate safety programs.

Perhaps the most challenging population to reach with important life safety information and education is our adult community. Knowing how to prevent emergencies and how to handle life-threatening situations is essential. North Metro Fire provides various educational opportunities for adults and seniors to learn important fire and life safety skills that can make a positive difference in their lives.
