North Metro Fire Rescue District’s Operations Division oversees all the day-to-day operations of the fire department including emergency medical services, emergency response and staffing, a budget and special projects. North Metro firefighters respond to nearly 10,000 calls annually, with emergency medical services being the majority of the calls.
In addition, this Division oversees the District’s Fleet Maintenance Division. Fleet Maintenance is responsible for over 70 District vehicles, including 10 fire engines, three aerial devices, six ambulances, an aircraft rescue firefighting vehicle (ARFF) and various rescue and support vehicles.
