Fire Stations and Facilities
North Metro Fire has seven fire stations that serve residents in Broomfield, Northglenn and unincorporated areas of Adams, Boulder, Jefferson and Weld counties. The fire district also has a large Training Center Complex and Headquarters building to serve the community.

Since 1946, North Metro Fire Rescue District has served to protect its citizens and their property with a high level of care, compassion and professionalism. North Metro Fire is equipped and committed to ensuring public safety through fire suppression, emergency medical services and patient transportation, hazardous materials response, technical rescues and wildland firefighting.

History
North Metro Fire Rescue District (formerly known as West Adams County Fire Protection District) was formed on November 8, 1946 by a group of 30 volunteers from the area of Eastlake, Colorado.
