2020 Board Election
ELECTION RESULTS UPDATE (5/5/20 at 9:40 p.m.)
The unofficial results are in from the 2020 North Metro Fire board of directors election. The results will be officially confirmed on May 14, once the eight-day window closes for absentee ballots to be received from uniformed and overseas citizens. See the full release on the election.
North Metro Fire is holding an election on May 5, 2020, to fill three board of director positions. Board members will begin serving a three-year term following the May election. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, North Metro Fire encourages residents to vote via absentee ballot (must apply for a ballot by April 28). The District will have two polling locations open on May 5 for voters to vote in person, and the District will implement social distancing and other safety measures to help minimize any risk of exposure to Coronavirus for both election staff and voters. PLEASE NOTE: Anyone wishing to vote in person or drop off an absentee ballot must wear a mask inside the polling location.

**CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: Anyone wishing to vote in person must wear a mask inside the polling location. This also applies for those dropping off their absentee ballot. Other social distancing precautions will be taken at the polling locations to protect the health and safety of voters and election staff.
For the convenience of the eligible electors, there will be two polling locations:

Election results will be finalized on May 14 (UOCAVA ballot deadline is May 13).
